The Food Of Hell From Indonesia


Famous as one of the best tropical countries, Indonesia provides tons of uniqueness and excitement. Its nature, culture, and art always bring millions of tourist each year. However, this time we are going to talk about one thing, Indonesia’s cuisine, in particular Sambal.
Sambal or sambel is infamous among tourist as the food of hell for its undeniable ability to make the consumer produces tears and sweat when eating. Produced using chili as its main ingredient, sambal is indeed taste extremely spicy.
Sambal is made by grinding ‘cabai’ or chili, along with several complements such as onion, lime,  tomato, ‘terasi’, sugar, and salt. The ingredients are grinded using traditional tool made usually from wood or stone. The texture is smooth with a vibrant color of green and red, depending on which chili you use.
There are many kind of sambal in Indonesia.Things that makes sambal has various kinds is how to make it and its recipes. There are sambal terasi, sambal pecel, sambal dabu-dabu, sambal bajak, sambal padang, sambal tumpang, sambal matah, etc. Those sambals are made by different ingredients and different ways to make it.

Infamous among tourists for its spiciness, many tourists are looking for it. However, some of them are challenged and try to eat it. Those who dare to try usually will get stomach ache or turn very red and sweaty in the face. Though super spicy, locals eat it in almost daily basis as their side meal.

Bakti Desa 2019

Bakti Desa is an anual event held by SMAN 3 Bandung for the 11th grader. This event held in Desa Cibeureum, Kabupaten Bandung on January 3rd - 5th 2019. The purpose of this event is to make the student of SMAN 3 Bandung feel life in the village situation and how to live in every conditions. This event also teach us moral, social, etc. That can make us have more empathy. My class are stayed in RT 11 Desa Cibeureum. Me and my friends are stayed in our foster parent house. Our foster parent's name is Ibu Novi. She lived with her children and her father. In the first day we arrived at Desa Cibeureum, we gathered in the village hall. After that, we went to our foster parent house. We got some rest in our foster parent house, and then we continue to go around the village to know about the villagers. Edu Passion 2018

    February 2018, Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Bandung held an education fair called  Edu Passion . The purpose of this fair is to introduce and give information about universities to the students. There are a lot of stand from different universities such as Unjani, STIE Ekuitas, UNPAR, UPI, UNPAD, and more.       We student from SMAN 3 Bandung must collect information from different universities there, and that information is in a form of a video which will be posted on Youtube and our blog.
