Bakti Desa 2019

Bakti Desa is an anual event held by SMAN 3 Bandung for the 11th grader. This event held in Desa Cibeureum, Kabupaten Bandung on January 3rd - 5th 2019. The purpose of this event is to make the student of SMAN 3 Bandung feel life in the village situation and how to live in every conditions. This event also teach us moral, social, etc. That can make us have more empathy. My class are stayed in RT 11 Desa Cibeureum. Me and my friends are stayed in our foster parent house. Our foster parent's name is Ibu Novi. She lived with her children and her father.

In the first day we arrived at Desa Cibeureum, we gathered in the village hall. After that, we went to our foster parent house. We got some rest in our foster parent house, and then we continue to go around the village to know about the villagers. After that, we go to the field to interact with children. We palyed a lot with them until Maghrib. During Maghrib, we teach the children how to read Iqro and Qur'an properly in Mosque until Isya. After that, we went sleep. 

In the next day, we help the villagers to do Jumat Bersih. We help them to clean the entire village. Then, we went to potatoes garden to do farming and get all information about potatoes. After that, we took a bath and prepared ourselves to do Jumat prayer. Then, we went to the playground to play with the children again. They were cried because that was the last day we play with them. During Maghrib we read Qur'an together in Mosque. During night we went to hill near the village. We named that hill 'Bukit Teletubbies'.

The last day we visited Situ Cisanti by walking. The view in there was beautiful. After that we packed our stuff and prepare ourselves to go home and said goodbye to our foster parent and took a photo with her too. It was fun and also unforgettable experience of my life.
